Step behind the scenes of Western Australia’s screen industry.

For two days only, Perth Film Studios invites you behind-the-scenes of film, television and digital production—where stories are built, worlds are created, and creativity comes to life.

Discover the people, skills and technology behind Western Australia’s screen industry through interactive experiences, live demonstrations and hands-on activities for all ages.

Free tickets will be available to book from Monday 3 August 2026. Capacity may be limited across sessions.

Registrations of interest for the Open Day on Saturday 12 September have now closed. Tickets will be released to the general public from 12 pm AWST on Monday 3 August.


Careers Day - Friday 11 September 2026

For students, educators and emerging creatives

Explore real pathways into the screen industry:

  • Meet industry professionals, creatives and crew
  • Learn about careers across film, TV, games and production
  • Attend talks, demos and hands-on experiences
  • Connect with education providers and organisations.

Open to Teachers, principals and educators at WA high schools, TAFEs and tertiary institutions with students who are studying film, TV and related courses, education associations and providers.

Please note: the Careers Day program on Friday 11 September (designed specifically for school-supervised excursions, TAFE and university students during normal school hours) is repeated at the Open Day on Saturday 12 September – the program is suitable for the general public, families, screen enthusiasts and emerging creatives of all ages.
