Courtyard Club 2024 kicks off tonight
The Arts and Culture Trust, in collaboration with RTRFM, proudly presents The Courtyard Club for 2024—a free live concert series showcasing local talent. This event will run every Friday evening from November 1 to December 20 in the State Theatre Centre Courtyard in Northbridge.

Now in its 10th year, The Courtyard Club aims to bring live music to the heart of the community, offering a vibrant atmosphere for audiences of all ages. Each evening will feature performances by local bands and DJs, with RTRFM DJ Vishnu hosting the live broadcast of Friday Drivetime.

The series kicks off on November 1 with a special collaboration with the Perth International Jazz Festival, featuring performances by Bad Neighbour, the WAAPA Jazz Collective, and Tash Thomas from RTRFM’s Giant Steps.

Throughout the series you can hear the soulful and powerful voice of Drea, the alt- indie magic of Good News Now We Can Eat All The Vampires, the awe inspiring legendary Abbe May (Solo), the pop wonder of Joan & The Giants, the show that is Ricky Neil Jnr and the series closes out with the worldly sound of Soukouss Internationale.

Check out the full lineup here.

Following each live performance, some of Perth's best DJs will take the stage, including Dennis Gedling, Cat Holker, and Liv Lightly, providing a lively musical experience well into the evening.

The Courtyard Club is an all-ages event, complete with a licensed bar, making it an ideal setting for enjoying free live music in a beautiful outdoor environment. Join us in celebrating local artistry and community spirit every Friday evening this November and December.
