ANZAC Dawn Service - Live Simulcast

25 April 2025 at 5:00am Albany Entertainment Centre, Princess Royal Theatre

Presented by the RSL Albany Sub Branch

The traditional Dawn Service on Mt Clarence, held at the first recorded location of the dawn service in Western Australia, led by Padre White in 1931.

He led the congregation to the top of Mt Clarence and as the service was held, a wreath was laid in King George Sound to commemorate those who fought.

Albany Entertainment Centre will begin live simulcast of The Dawn Service on Friday 25 April at 5.00am followed by the Gunfire Breakfast.

This is a FREE event and you do not require a ticket to attend.

GUNFIRE BREAKFAST
One of the traditions of Anzac Day is the ‘gunfire breakfast’ (coffee with rum added) which occurs shortly after many dawn ceremonies and recalls the ‘breakfast’ taken by many soldiers before facing battle. The traditional gunfire breakfast will be held at the Albany Entertainment Centre with a $5 donation to the RSL following the Dawn Service. You do not require a ticket for this event.
