Join Wayne Perry and Ian Simpson as they take you on a magical journey through the music of Gordon Lightfoot.

With his first hit in the 1960s, 'Early Morning Rain', and weaving their way through 'If You Could read My Mind', 'Sundown', 'Bitter Green', 'Beautiful', 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald' and the amazing 'Canadian Railroad Trilogy'.

Join us for two hours of great musical memories from Canada’s most beloved troubadour.

Wayne Perry (vocals, 6 and 12 string acoustic guitar)

A singer/songwriter, who has travelled extensively through Australia and overseas, Wayne grew up playing Gordon’s songs as part of his songwriting journey. Wayne’s vocals and fingerstyle guitar-playing are well suited to the ballads of Gordon’s repertoire.

Ian Simpson (backing vocals, acoustic guitar, dobro guitar and banjo)

A veteran of the Australian country music scene, Ian’s career has included touring with the legendary Slim Dusty, countless high profile Australian country stars, and is a co-founder of the Sensitive New Age Cowpersons. With tasteful guitar, dobro and backing vocals, and a dose of blistering banjo, Ian rounds out this show nicely.
