Ali Bodycoat is a musical icon and one of the country’s finest jazz singers.
For this performance she will bring together a band of exceptional musicians including the acclaimed jazz pianist Tom O’Halloran at the keyboard.
Ali has a vocal performance history that is deeply rooted in the West Australian jazz and music scene. She has been a Perth mainstay for almost 30 years, holding a 17-year residency with the Ali Bodycoat Trio and performing for over 15 years of regular listings at The Ellington Jazz Club.
Ali is delighted to be returning to Government House this December, and will present an afternoon of the swinging greats and popular standards that are her benchmark.
