Presented by Reconciliation WA
Join us for a powerful evening of truth-telling and reflection as we welcome Patrick Dodson, Yawuru elder from Broome, Western Australia, former politician, and Australian Indigenous rights activist, widely regarded as the Father of Reconciliation. Patrick joins National Reconciliation Week as our keynote speaker and featured Reconciliation Memoir.
This event is the fourth instalment of the Reconciliation Memoirs series, which began in NRW 2022 with Fred Chaney OAM, followed by Dr. Richard Walley OAM (2023) and Carol Innes AM (2024). The series continues to honour the voices and legacies of reconciliation leaders.
Through deep conversation, Patrick Dodson will share his experiences, insights, and vision for reconciliation and justice — offering a rare opportunity to learn from one of Australia’s most influential First Nations advocates.
