STATE OF PLAY re-enters the arena in 2025, and we’re preparing for another smashing season!
Running from 17 January to 2 February 2025, the State Theatre Centre will transform into the award-winning FRINGE WORLD Festival hub STATE OF PLAY!
We’re chasing adventurous, unique and/or site-specific works that activate our spaces in new and unexpected ways. STATE OF PLAY is looking to program works appealing to all audiences and across all genres, so whether you are passionate about theatre, music, dance or making work for children, we’re interested to hear from you! SOP productions will take over six main spaces: Heath Ledger Theatre, Heath Ledger Foyer, Studio Underground, Rehearsal Room 1, The Courtyard and introducing in 2025 – The Middar Room!
